Musala is the highest peak in Bulgaria – 1925 m. It is part of a hundred tourist sites. Located in the Rila Mountains near Borovets. It is igradena meteorological station of the National Institute of
Meteorology and Hydrology, BAS.
Straight path of Borovets, which is about 10 kilometers long, leads right to the top of the south. By cable car can reach Yastrebetz area located at 1369 meters altitude. After about 200 meters and is located Musala hut to which can be reached on foot.
